What was it like to grow up with parents who survived the Holocaust?

Who is responsible for ensuring the Holocaust and its generational impact are remembered?

Traces answers these questions, giving voice to the resilient "Second Generation"
– children of survivors –
as they share their parents' survival stories
and reveal the inherited effects
of Holocaust survivorship.

What We Do

Traces, documentary film broadens our understanding of the Holocaust’s generational impact

■ In Traces, we hear directly from children of Holocaust survivors, known as the Second Gen. They tell their parents’ remarkable survival stories and explores what it was like to grow up with parents who survived history’s darkest of evils

Traces expands awareness of the Holocaust’s ongoing effects and inspires us to ensure these stories are remembered

Our Goals

■ We will extend its reach across the globe by providing translations
 and subtitles in multiple languages

■ We will create Traces educational materials, offering deeper understanding of this difficult topic
